Three days, 29 poster presentations, 32 verbal sessions, and hundreds of health communication experts flocking to Orlando, Florida — that’s right, the countdown to the Digital Health Communication Extravaganza (DHCX) is finally over. DHCX combines technology and health communication, with a focus on improving health behaviors using digital resources. Talk about right up the CommunicateHealth alley! We’ll be attending and presenting — and we can’t wait.
This year’s theme is “Converging Networks,” and the lineup of speakers and topics is absolutely top notch. We’re proud to throw 2 presentations into the mix: we’ll be sharing our poster on the first-ever Health Literacy Hackathon, and talking about involving individuals with limited literacy skills in the co-creation of digital health information and interactive tools.
Of course we’ll be tweeting live from DHCX, so follow us @CommunicateHlth. Also be sure to check back here after the event for our thoughts and highlights. More to come from Orlando!
